Filing A 5405 Means You Can't E-File

Well, we in my firm recently discovered one upleasant side effect of the First-Time Homebuyer Credit, which is that the IRS is requesting a copy of the settlement statement or HUD 1, which in turn means they want paper copies. Although it's a bit more of a chore, I think it's worth it for $8000.
